What's Included in a Professional Christmas Light Hanging Service?

"Christmas light hanging service" is one of the most common searches we see every fall, and for good reason: buying the lights is the easy part. Getting them up safely, evenly, and without spending a weekend on a ladder is where most homeowners want help. Here's what a professional hanging service actually includes, and how it's different from doing it yourself.

It's More Than Just Hanging Lights

A true professional light hanging service starts before a single clip goes on your roof. Our crews measure your rooflines, trees, and shrubs, then plan a layout that follows the architecture of your home instead of just draping lights wherever they'll reach. That planning is what separates a clean, symmetrical display from one that looks rushed.

Safety Is the Real Value

Most residential ladder injuries happen in exactly the scenario Christmas light hanging creates: cold hands, wet gutters, and a rushed timeline before the holidays. Our trained installers use the right equipment for your specific roofline, whether that's a low ranch home or a steep, multi-story colonial, so you get the display without the risk.

Built to Handle the Season

We use secure, roofline-specific clips and commercial-grade lighting, not the plastic hooks and thin wire that tend to fail in the first strong wind. That means your display stays put and stays lit through freezing temperatures, ice, and whatever a Mid-Atlantic winter throws at it, whether it's a tree-lined property in Wynnewood, PA or a salt-air home near Rehoboth Beach, DE.

What Happens If Something Goes Wrong

Bulbs burn out. Strands come loose in a storm. A full-service hanging service includes maintenance throughout the season, so if anything needs attention, we come back and fix it at no additional cost. You shouldn't have to climb a ladder in January just to replace one bulb.

Takedown Included

Once the season wraps up, we return to carefully take everything down and store it, so you're not stuck coiling cords and packing boxes in the cold.

Want to Skip the Yearly Hang and Takedown Entirely?

If you're ready to stop rehanging lights every single year, take a look at permanent lighting installation. It's a one-time, OMNI-certified install that gives you app-controlled color year-round, no seasonal hanging or takedown required.
